Frisson

Music moves me and takes me on a journey of it's own. If I could express how music makes me feel through a painting I think this is it.

Sunflower field

When I think about sunflowers, I think of a warm day at the sunflower field with the fresh breeze of air brushing against my hair. It is my happy place, just like this painting.

I believe that art is subjective in nature and just as creating this painting took me on a journey of it's own, looking at it can also take the viewer on a journey. Here I give the viewer the liberty to take a journey for themselves. Get immersed in the painting, how does the texture of the oil paint make you feel? What emotions do you feel when you see the different marks on the canvas?

Sea scapes

This is from a series of sketches on paper I like to call 'Sea Scapes'
There is something about the sea and thinking about the beach that makes me happy. So I created these sketches that remind me of it.
